We've preparing our new color blends for next year, and studying the trends for both 2008 and 2009 created the perfect jumping-off point for another post on ways to use color - my favorite topic : )
The top colors for 2008 were, for the most part, not a huge surprise: Green was a major player, as were shades of blue (Iris Blue was Pantone's pick of the year) and earth tones. The American Craftsman Bungalow, a popular architectural style during the arts and crafts period (1910-1925) is one of my favorite styles, and I love the earthy colors that were used by designers and architects of the period.

There are many ways to produce color palettes and upload them here. Try out my design application at www.mosaicmaximizer.com and work directly with glass mosaic tiles (over 500 styles and colors) to produce the perfect blend of colors for any room. Once you've produced a blend, you can save your formula and email it to the design staff at MosaicTileSupplies.com. In talking to homeowners, interior designers and architects on a daily basis, we find that color is one of the most important aspects of any project - residential or commercial, small or large.
